Beverly A. Greenawalt Obituary, Death –  February 13, 2024 – Beverly A. (Myers) Greenawalt, 84, a cherished member of the Rimersburg community, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, February 10, 2024, at the Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Shippenville, PA. Born on March 25, 1939, in Sligo, to Ivan D. and Beatrice C. (Kammerdeiner) Myers, Beverly was a lifelong resident of Clarion County. She leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and a deep commitment to her community.

A Multifaceted Career and Passionate Hobbies

Beverly’s life was marked by diversity in her professional journey. She sold Avon, worked at Bud’s Market in Rimersburg, and served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Clarview in Sligo and Golden Living Nursing Home in Shippenville. Most recently, she contributed her time and efforts at the Sligo Rec Center. Her dedication and strong work ethic made her a respected figure in various roles. Beyond her professional endeavors, Beverly found joy in her many hobbies.

Family and Community Bonds

Beverly’s passing leaves a profound void in the lives of her three daughters, Terry Lynne (Terry Lee) Kerr of Titusville, Karen (John) Rankin of Huey, and Laurie S. (Brian) Holler of North East, Pa. She will be fondly remembered by her six grandchildren, Shawn, Dustin, Casey, Chrissy, Kyle, and Courtney, as well as her step-grandchildren, Ryan, Luke, and Ashley, along with her 11 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jeanne of Luray, Va., and three brothers-in-law, James (Janet) Greenawalt of Knox, Paul (Connie) Greenawalt of Sligo, and Steven (Velma) Greenawalt of Sligo.

Fond Farewell and Commemoration

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Richard Greenawalt, who passed away on May 19, 2000, her brother Gordon Myers, and a grandchild, Lexie Castile. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, PA, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Baker Street Church of God, 160 Veteran Street, Rimersburg, with Rev. John Milliron officiating. The final resting place for Beverly will be at Sligo Cemetery, Sligo, PA, marking the end of a life that touched so many hearts and left an indelible mark on the Rimersburg community. Beverly’s memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
